Please join me as we take a first walk around IWA OutdoorClassics 2025 – from an airgun perspective, of course. We’ll have more detail on many of the “snapshots” here in future posts.
The aim of this post is to convey something of what it’s like to be at the world’s largest airgun show…
The photograph above gives some idea of the massive scale of this event – and that’s just one hall of many, filled with outdoor-related products. Closing-in, we see some familiar names – like Leapers here, of course.
There’s old friends, too. Like Chris Jensen from Airguns of Arizona. And wow! Is that a Daystate Blackwolf with chassis and tube he’s showing us? It just could be…
Then there’s some less familiar names. At least to most of us. For example, Rifle is a Brazilian pellet manufacturer.
Now here’s a surprise! A 7mm Wolfiek PCP air rifle. Hmmm, need to find out more about that…
Kral always has a large presence at the show, combined with an equally-large array of new products.
Then you find out that GX compressors has introduced a new desiccant filter system for use with their – or any other compressor. This is a very useful thing that’s much less easily found than it should be. Every PCP owner should have a desiccant filter with their compressor!
Below, Krale is the well-known, large European distributor.
As for JTS, they are introducing a range of slugs in calibers from .22 to .357.
Iconic Outdoor Group is the new corporate name for the Crosman/Benjamin/Daisy/Gamo/BSA organization. They added two more brands and halved the size of the booth compared to last year…
Below. It’s the Taipan Slash semi-auto. Great name! I’ll need to get back to see this.
Snowpeak Airguns was busy. This is where many of the guns that we all buy come from. They have some interesting new models that I’ll go back to see.
Another old friend is Mr Zhu, the airgun designer from Nova Vista. He showed me the “Generation 2” version of his PCP with built-in pump. He still remembers when I took a photograph of him many years ago when the Gen 1 version was launched. Click the link to see…
Of course, the precision target rifle manufacturers are on their home turf here. The FWB products are as beautiful as always!
