Finally wrapped these up this week. The first part in a possible build series for the Karma Eq. Progress is slow because I only have a few days a week to work on parts, but I'm still making progress.
This first part is a redesigned trigger guard w/ a lower picatinny rail system. The OEM mount has the pistol grip as a separate mount, and the trigger guard mounted with a single bolt. I've merged the pistol grip and trigger guard into one piece creating a rigid platform for a modular rail system.
We've opted to design the rail systems this way for a couple of reasons.
First, to reduce production costs by keeping the production process less complicated. Second, to provide a platform for the shooter to build out the rifle the way they want without forcing them to only use our designs. This lower Picatinny rail allows for that modularity.
