So ever since last week I hunted with the now returned .177 BRK RANGER because of the floppy side lever Iāve fallen in love with the .177 as a ground squirrel slaying caliber. Now Iām obsessed with the idea of getting a compact Edgun Leshiy 2 in .177 with a 350cc tank and running it at 15 fpe for a high shot count (80+) semi auto ground squirrel slaying machine possibly with a red dot.
Now thereās no free lunch so something has to give. Iāll be getting funds from the return on the Ranger .177 but that leaves the .22 ranger on the chopping block because Iāll need more $$. Iām contemplating selling the ranger .22 to get the funds for the .177 L2.
Once you go semi auto itās really silly to use a side lever IMO lol. Follow up shots are effortless. Anyway let me know what yāall think. Iām probably going to do it but I want to hear thoughts .
