I received a dead .25cal Hatsan 150 Torpedo Vortex on Friday.
The gas spring had lost its chutzpah....not unusual.
I opened her up yesterday and performed the standard gas spring reseal.
I have yet to have a Hatsan O-ring come out in 1 piece. They seem to be leftover from WWII and always crumble to pieces.
I replaced the O-rings, put in a few drops of silicone oil and reinstalled the gland using some blue Loctite.
I reassembled with my usual struggles with the trigger assy pins and the receiver pins.
Before I recharged the spring, I took note of the fact that this Vortex has NO bleed screw, so I had to take care to not overcharge the spring.
1825psi is the norm, and that is close to what charged it up to.
Reassembled into the stock, cocked (it latched!!) and test fired.
Nice, quiet rifle, albeit a tad on the heavy side......
Another Hatsan surgery success.............

Looked up the gun....wowww! Says up to 900fps in .25! It's your gun or u fixed it for someone? I've opened up a springer but never a gas ram. Seems kinda like a springer/pcp hybrid job. Nicely done.

I purchased it non-working so I could "play" with it.
It is mine, but I'm not married to it..........

I only charged the Vortex gas spring to 1800psi....needs 2100........ only shooting 700fps 19.91gr pellet...
