I ordered 2 sampler kits in .25 slugs one in .249 and one in .251 to shoot out of my Taipan Standard they all shot not terrible the .251 were the best groups and the 32 grains I liked a lot so I ordered 4 tins of the H&N 32 grains.251 slugs. They did not shoot well at all. So then I shot the 32 grains slugs from the sample kit again and they were stacking beautifully….so after careful examination, I noticed that the tins I ordered were labeled HP ll 32 grain .251 The sample pack was not labeled with the (ll) So I guess I messed that up.Anyone use the H&N Slug Sampler’s?
I ordered some to try out , wanted see anyone use these to any degree off success finding good slugs

They give you enough of each size to know if they will work at all for your airgun (40 per weight i think it was?). If u get into tuning/doping, etc you'll definitely need more!Definitely, trial and error with slugs and Airguns, same game as finding a guns favorite pellet.
My thoughts are the slug sampler kits can save you a little money in the long run. Instead of buying an entire box of slugs that may or may not work well for your gun.
