Others GX CS4 Off Light Stays On - No Air!

New October last year. Used yesterday and worked but today can’t get red light to turn off. Use to fill my 2l tank as needed which isn’t often given my weather. Is there a reset button? Bad switch? Doesn’t look difficult to take the cover off but haven’t yet. Bought on amazon and sent a note to the seller but don’t know if/when I’ll hear back from them. Suggestions? Who do you contact when you have a problem with a GX compressor? Thanks.

GX support responded last night. Wanted me to try dc power to see if results were the same. They were so they’re sending out a new circuit board. Good video to install on youtube so should be back in business soon.

Got my replacement circuit board today and installed. Same result which was disappointing and didn’t make sense. Moved the auto shutdown dial markers and tried again and it worked! It is very possible it failed to work because in was in shutdown mode. I don’t remember looking at that but I’m surprised the tech didn’t suggest checking that first. Thanks for your suggestions. Lesson learned.

Just sent my report to gx, so I don’t know what their reaction will be. I can’t be sure it was my mistake or not that ‘fixed’ the problem and neither can they. I expect they'll charge it up to goodwill.
