The Hill EC-3000 are great compressors the old and the evo. Extremely solid! In the past I used bauers and coltris, the air quality is perfect but these compressors are really noisy and really heavy.

100% I'm interested as well! I feel these compressors are the excellent "in between" compressor option. AGS here has the originals in stock but I'm liking the evo. Excellent quality, fast and can fill decent sized gun bottles or tanks but it's no monster either with a 3-5k sticker price. Again I will only ever buy "low" (3650 psi) pressure fill pcps as I also hand pump. Was checking out the Huben K1 pistol for kicks and yeah 5000psi fill....no thanks.

Yeah the Huben at 5k is insane. The only affordable compressor that can fill to 5k is the Gxcs4 it’s just not practical to me. Anyway. Let’s see how its calibrated

Just for clarity, I've owned the Hill compressor for over 3.5 years.

50 hours service done last year.

Multiple communications with Hill, excellent service.

Through other sources I heard the earlier compressor is pricey to calibrate, whole new panel, software etc.
So definitely interested.

I've no need for 310 bar filling. More curious 🤨.

Might be cheaper and less headache to just buy the new one or a cs4

Yeah I wouldn’t buy a new one but it’s interesting. That extra 10 bar makes zero difference. When I fill to 310 bar the tanks drop to 300 anyway
So true, rarely do I fill a rifle above 250 bar.

Last summer, sitting in the shade, 34 degrees Celsius. 220cc bottle on the gun filled to 270 or so bar.
I wasn't shooting, simply setting up a scope. No pellets involved.

Almost new rifle, never been apart.
Phooooof, rifle done a launch, full spin then landed on the deck. Still have visions of that metal butt hook spinning past my eyes. Scary.

A o ring had popped on the bottle, launching a whole rifle.

Be careful brothers.

Scary experience for sure...I'm still newish to PCPs. I watched carefully last summer as my shiny black S510 cylinder at 220 bar (fills to 250bar) crept up in the heat right back up to 250!! It was kinda nice actually for some 'free shots' but yeah I wouldn't leave a fully topped up gun in the sun!

An extremely scary experience, glad you didn’t got hurt! Kinda curious what kind of rifle you used?
