Got a .25 HP in on my shipping bench moments ago from Airguns Of Arizona, all I could do was open the case and give it a look and a few pictures, its topped with a forerunner 6-24 Athlon but I surely will be trying both the Midas Tac Gen 2 I got in and the DNT The One on it.

Also can't wait to attach the new from UTG Goliath as I am already pretty impressed with it

Anyways,

I brought in some 25 grain hades, 29 grain domed JTS , and arguably my favorite pellet the 33.95 MK2s.

Id like to see how this thing goes from a pesting standpoint with shot count and accuracy being looked at with the hades, and then see which of the two heavier pellets work best from a bench standpoint.

Anyways, follow along! ask questions, interact with me in this thread!

Your Ghost is looking sweet. Am looking forward to your take on the platform…🙏
Its very reminiscent of my Alphawolf I owned a few years ago. I took the rifle out to show a coworker and I am not surprised at the quality feel. I am hoping that I can get out today once I am home to quickly set up some targets and see where its at.

Leaving for vacation Friday afternoon so won't be back to REALLY test it till not this weekend but the following, and I am honestly not too happy about that.

Enjoy your vacation brother, when you get back she’ll be awaiting and you will be hopefully refreshed. We here on HAM are patient and know once you’re able to we will read your opinion on the performance of that sweet Ghost…🙏

Congrats😎! I personally believe the .25 (in factory form with 600mm barrel) is the one to get. The .22 is HOT and only likes Mrds unless tuned way down, the .177 is...well... a .177😆 and the. 30 is a hair underpowered with the 600mm. Let us know what ammo it ends up liking! +1 on the Midas Tac! Love mine, If wanting a decent replacement grip that isn't wood check out the Fab defense Ak47 grip.

So , I had to get out and shoot, it felt really good.

I haven't shot a single thing in over 14 months. My range is a little unruly right now as I'm waiting for a new fuel tank for my brush hog so I can groom it. Also the Holey Fridges are still there as soon below.

Anyways I went to go setup the rifle with the UTG Goliath and no bueno, it just does not fit, the Goliath and the BRK Ghost are not meant to be in factory trim. I am going to make a post about this and link it here so you can all see what I am talking about .

So I ran back up to my place and got another shooting bag. I really don't like shooting off a front bag , but it is what it is.

There is also now an old camper being stored at the range, as can be seen in the background 😅.

First impressions are, this is a high quality rifle. I will get more into detail the more I use it, I don't feel this is a fair time to give pros or cons since I don't have much seat time behind it.

One thing I can say is, I have big knuckles, the charging handle, while comfortable to rack back, comes down very far and I bump my knuckle on the way in to grab the grip every time. Minor, but worth noting if you're a knuckle dragger lol.

You can see in the next photo.

So this rifle is not setup for me, it came with the scope, it came tuned extremely hot, I made no adjustments to the setup except play with the power wheel to get a kind of "OK" tune. I couldn't even get any downward elevation adjustment out of the scope , and at 50 yards I had to hold 5 hash marks.

Here is how it started and progressed as I played with the power wheel, this was with 25gr. I got it to a relatively consistent spot and shot at some targets to get a feel, it didn't really like this tune and pellet combo, the reg on this thing is set HOT at 155 bar. The lowest i could get the 25s to go on this tune with the powerwheel on minimum 2 is actually the second chrono string.

Anyways, I then switched to 29 gr and ditched the chronograph and played with the powerwheel till I got accuracy.

Here's an moa or very close to moa 10 shot groups at 50 yards.

I know I can do better, but for not having shot in 14 months, rushing this out there, not even setting it up for me, I'll take it! and was very pleased.

Then on the 6th mag of the night I decided to run the KYL. Unfortunately the last little sucker avoided me twice.

All in all I am pumped to be shooting again, when I get back I am going to bring this rifle down to 115 to 120 bar and work from there, this rifle has some oomph behind it.

Now some pics of peri and I 😀I know I can do better, but for not having shot in 14 months, rushing this out there, not even setting it up for me, I'll take it! and was very pleased.

My 25 @ 135 bar will push 34 gr to 930 anyhow and if you drop to 5 thats 890. You can get a spacer for your bipod off amazon for just a couple bucks they have all types from thick to thin and for arca. Oh and i sawed off the last ring on bolt handle makes it easier to reach safety too.

Thanks for the tip on where you're settings are! That'll help me for sure!

what was the issue with the UTG Goliath?

These two points make contact, as @Solo1 said, and extender would fix this , but not something I planned for, and thats ok. There's just not enough clearance, if the pic rail had just 1 more lug, it would be fine.20250507_184522.webp20250507_184448.webp

Try some aea 34’s shot this just the other day @100 off bucket and styx

Exactly 1” group. Oh 28mm gauges (wika) fit no biggie.
I surely will but I want to see what this rifle can do with the hades, I think detuned for accuracy it could get a crazy good shot count and still be lethal!

Then I am going to battle it out between the 29s and the 34s and see who's the victor!

I found weighing the 29’s their like the bad monsters and the aea im shooting straight from the tin! And ya turned down real good shot count

okay so thats more of a Ghost issue then bipod.
I have a buddy that has several cheapie import bipods and he has to shim them to get the to tighten up.
shim it.
glad to hear that isnt the issue here.
