Others Crosman 3622

Been having weird strange issues since I installed the AGM breach. Last night I discovered that when I changed from the plastic breach to the AGM breach I lost the breach seal. Searched the work area last night & couldn’t find it so I ordered a couple. Hope this is the cause of my issues.

Had a steel breach on a 1322 that I don’t shoot much anymore so I took it off the 1322 & installed it on the 3622. I was mistaken the breach seal was there I just pay any attention to it. When finished I took it out & fired 100 shot through it. I liked the steel breach much better than the AGM plastic breach. The bolt was much smoother & my groups were a little tighter plus pretty sure the fliers were my fault. I dropped the fill pressure to 1900 psi & the SD for 20 shots went from 21 avg to 17. Want to try 1800 psi fill & see what happens. After that it’s on to pellet testing to see which pellet it likes the best. Think I’ll start at 10m pick the best 3-4 & move them out to 25 yards.

Instead of using the BR scope mounts I decided to get the Airgun Mods 3d printed breach with picatinny rails which uses the stock bolt. While I had it apart I also removed the locktite on the hammer spring screw & sanded the stock with a dremel so it could be adjusted without taking the stock off. The breach went on easily following the video directions for the 1322. The only difference being is you don’t need to remove the bottom screw in the spring cap.

Very nice work brother!

I'm a bit of an Accuracy Nimrod, the first I do when I buy a Crosman 2240,1322,1377,362,3622 Is replace that Plastic Breech with a Crosman Steel Breach Kit. It just makes for a more stable platform (Dove Tail) which Improves Accuracy and I believe gives a little more Velocity! I love that family of Pistol's and Rifles, aftermarket support and the ease of disassembly & reassembly make them so much fun to Tinker with!
