Let 'em have it Woogie_man! I love how unrelenting and persistent you are, for real! It saves all of us from having to harp on them too. Though, sometimes I do too. Let's face it, a lot of us are getting up there in years, and we literally don't have the time to wait. Lol

I second this!! What gives @BRKairgunsUK ? A realistic time frame for your slug barrels would be nice? and cost? It has been announced no less than 3 times now that they are out....and crickets....maybe @Lee unsworth knows? Thanks Even my local dealer (Air Gun Source) is in the dark on them.
It is nice to see the sniper is out with the laminated/wood stock again.

Why not be a jerk - we've been jerked around on these barrels for the past year and a half. I am probably the closest thing to a FX not-fanboy and I'll even say that FX has shown Daystate/BRK the door in the barrel department.

Glad I have my Red Wolves from when the company actually cared about the product they delivered. The Alpha/Delta Wolf and Ghost platforms could have been amazing platforms but for a company that spent 2-3 years churning out crap barrels. Now we know why - all their resources were on the Black Wolf and they were just dragging their customers along.

I hope the BlackWolf barrels don't disappoint or are the same crap barrels as I'll be spending elsewhere if that is the case.

Agreed. Having been around a lot of FX rifles, I really don't like them. Just to much about them that I can't stand. Like I said I do have my HM1000x that shoots slugs, but would really like a dedicated hunting gun that I can use slugs in.

The Ghost fits the bill greatly, just need it to shoot a variety of slugs accurately. And a dedicated slug barrel would be awesome!

I have seen a fair few uk shooters with .177 and .25 , a while ago the factory had stock ready to go in these calibres , you can fill out a barrel request form on the brk website and they will let you know if available, .30 is in testing stage

Well seeing as the BlackWolf is avaliable in a 28inch Slug barrel option from .177 to .30 and we are told they are the exact same barrels that are in the Ghost/Alpha/Delta guns I do wonder about that.....I have been unable to use the barrel order form to date from their Website. However... a monster .22 Ghost just arrived @ my local dealer with a 580cc tank and a 28inch (acclaimed) slug/pellet shooting barrel. This would be THE slug barrel my guess? We know the 28inch in the world record was either a 1:17LW or a slow twist 1:30LW option. What twist rate is in this beast I wonder? That information Daystate has yet to share with us.

Gotcha! So probably same twist rate, barrel length, etc.
